con los amigos, con el Oriente, con la aventura ;
y el amor en culto;
In debt
I am indebted with the longing,
with the beauty, the infinite and the guitar,
with the wounds and the patience
restorer of so many unsuspected things,
with the resources of unforeseen,
with your tenderness,
with friends, the East, with adventure,
with every folded tear
to hide the best of the chest,
with the poets and with their drifting dreams,
with the landscape that gave me the simplest reason
with errors,
essentials to return to the home of the soul,
with desire ...
I am indebted to my executioners
for transforming pain in voice
and love in worship;
with bees and ants
because they taught me that every peak has its day,
with the prodigality of fantasy that saved me
of succumbing without the redemption of every battle,
with the shipwrecks in so many bellies
where love stamped its trace;
with Krishnamurti, with Jonathan L. Seagull, and irreverence;
with the mystery of a song that sealed my path;
with the good judgment and the confessions;
with the candor of the helpless one;,
with the stars I am in debt.
Mi familia
Mi familia es esa sombra estática
que a la vez tiene sabor "sui generis" ;
ocupando un cargo que da vértigos;
los demás han integrado el éxodo
impregnados de una fe patriótica.
Esta llena de señores prácticos
que jamás han detenido el transito
para hundirse en cantos filosóficos
propios de poetas ditirámbicos.
Cada cual quiso alcanzar la cúspide,
-la que nos trae seguridad mecánica-,
sin pensar en el error dietético
que es dejar al alma sin su pálpito;
Integrando una danza vesánica
se han tornado grasos y frenéticos.
Conformándose con ser de rúbrica,
van dejando su retrato plástico
de un color incierto y tan palúdico
que los hace parecer simpáticos
a los ojos de cualquier minúsculo
soñador de corazón escuálido.
En el fondo mi familia es cándida,
prisionera de patrones fétidos,
con sus ansias de lograra matricula
en un cielo cada vez mas gélido.
Con su largo embrollo genealógico,
atraviesa el valle de las lágrimas
convencida de su rol histórico
y del precio que tendrán sus dádivas.
My family
My family is this static shadow
that at the same time has a "sui generis" flavor ;
who donated its inheritance to semantics
regardless that the genesis
can not be predicted by their factory of illusions
and thermal virtues.
Everyone has been a good catholic,
educated under the scent of the pulpit.
Incapable of sordid affairs,
except for some sporadic slip of lustful tone,
privately and without raising the music,
not to give way to response.
Only one of them remained in the Republic,
holding a position that gives dizziness;
the others have joined the exodus
imbued with a patriotic faith.
It is full of pragmatic gentlemen
who have never stopped the traffic
in order to sink into philosophical chants
typical of dithyrambic poets.
Everyone wanted to reach the top,
that brings us mechanical safety;
without thinking about their dietary error
which is to leave the soul without its hunch
being part of a madness dance
they have become fatty and frantic.
Being content of to be customary
they are leaving their plastic portrait
from an uncertain and boggy color that makes them look nice
in the eyes of any tiny dreamer of squalid heart.
Deep inside my family is candid, prisoner of its fetid patterns,
with their desire to achieve enrollment in an increasingly coldest heaven
With its long genealogical entanglement, it crosses the “Valley of Tears”
convinced of its historical role and of the price they will have for they gifts.
Rites of waiting
I waited for you so awake invested with scents and flowers
as death waits for silence.
I waited for you at dawn and devoted to your foam
I waited for you with the mist and my verses in your walk.
I waited for you disarmed with no certainty of long meetings.
I waited for you with the light in hands
and I hid my sadness not to bleed you,
not to desecrate your wildest desires.
I waited for you like a sage resigned to the offer of the wind,
convinced and austere, with the glory in the mud,
the gaze on the shore and my feet on heavens’ land.
I waited for you in vain with the last breath vibrating.
to avoid repeating myself inclement
the promise that you venture to take up to the weariness
I waited for you back but you never arrived.
Paloma sin nombre
Paloma que vuelve
paloma que pasa
paloma que olvida,
que tiembla, que arrasa
paloma que juega
paloma de antaño
que toma una flor
y deshoja mis años,
paloma que duerme
y no cierra la herida
paloma que lleva
en sus ojos la vida
paloma del llanto,
del beso y la calma
paloma que llegas
talándome el alma.
paloma que encuentro
entre el mar y el rocío
paloma que pierdo
paloma mi abrigo
paloma sin nombre
de imagen helada
paloma con todo
paloma con nada.
paloma que un día
comparte mi lecho
y en invierno vuela
lejos de mi pecho
paloma de sueños,
de sal, de cristal
paloma tan libre
sin su palomar.
Paloma que vive
a la par de la brisa
paloma que ríe
porque ella es la risa
paloma que espero
si vuelve al amor
paloma que pierdo
paloma que muero.
Dove without a name
Dove that returns,
dove that passes,
dove that is forgets,
that trembles, that devastates,
dove that plays,
dove of yesteryear,
who takes a flower
and plucks my years,
dove that sleeps
and does not heal the wound,
dove carrying
in its eyes the life,
dove of the crying,
of the kiss and the calmness,
dove that arrives
cutting down my soul,
dove that I find
between the sea and the dew,
dove that I lose,
dove my shelter,
dove without name
of frozen image,
dove with everything,
dove with nothing,
dove that one day
shares my bed,
and in winter
it flies far from my chest,
dove of dreams,
of salt, of glass,
dove so free
without its dovecote,
dove who lives
on par with the breeze,
dove who laughs
because she is the laughter,
dove that I’m waiting
if she returns to love,
dove that I lose,
dove that I die.
If a friend denies us
If a friend denies us a star is hiding
to mourn its shame behind mankind.
There’s no trace on your window, no laughter in the path,
Morning fogs and wine tastes bitter
If a friend denies us,
confidence, that dangled yesterday
hanging in the balance,
rots over pain and tears,
between lights and shadows when no one listened
to the pace of things.
If a friend denies us, fearing spells
of masters, inquisitors and “pure specimens”
that they nailed us to a tree for “thirty pieces of silver”,
doing of the agony a consolation act.
If a friend denies us, when everyone depart,
when faith punishes us and hope is not enough
for mowing the harvest which appears in the soul,
what is left for the trip if they do not leave us anything
and a friend denies us?
