ABRIL 13
trayendo poco ruido y muchas nueces;
me sobra impulso y mando
aunque esto lo mitigo con el canto
cayendo tantas veces...
porque nací en Abril y un día 13.
Aunque nací en Abril y un día 13
sin ser supersticioso
me cuido a mi manera
y si alguien me sonríe caigo herido.
donde no importaría si es Jueves o Diciembre;
APRIL 13
Well... I was born in April and the day 13
in the “Year of the Tiger -according to Chinese sages-
and making little noise with the nuts;
on a "blessed island”; from race of emigrants.
with yearnings for conquer and good mood.
I am like a whirlwind on the road and if I find a wall
I give it head butts blind and mute!
For me they are just littlenesses ...
because I was born in April the 13th.
As I was born in April and the day 13
I like to fight before I step aside
and it is my best blazon to be audacious
In skirt affairs, art and adventures
however, I have my secret in tenderness.
But tenacious and strong
I have plenty of momentum and command,
although I mitigate this with the singing,
falling so many times ...
because I was born in April the 13.
Although I was born in April and the day 13
without being superstitious
I take care of myself -in my own way-
of dreams of power and chimeras.
And although I have not lacked roses in spring,
exciting and secret caresses,
I am not a chosen one neither a “chest of virtues”
but I let the muses undress me
and that they teach me their prayers
while returning April the 13th.
Because I was born in April the 13th
I turn on at times
but the next one... I forget
and if someone smiles at me, I fall injured.
'cause the hardest thing for me is to tame patience.
Oh! when could I be able to reach this “solemn science”!
that It's my life lesson to walk slowly
and not to think that the mount is a fairy tale
since there will always be setbacks
because I was born in April the 13th.
And if I was born in April the 13th
to everything that stands the pressure of my push
I put it to juggle through the clouds.
I refuse to be a flock
because walking in line
and waiting on my knees hurts me
And if death comes, let it find me ready
so I can pass quietly to the other side
where it would not matter if it is Thursday or December;
if it is cold or dawn ...
even though today is not April the 13.
ANABEL...
Me viene a provocar, me pide que te siga;
aunque no tengas eco
ANABEL... ON A NEW MOON
I found you randomly under the new moon.
Tired my restlessness to hold the wait.
In open rebellion with all the past.
Pending for a pardon that
the merchants of redemption have invented
to put me in doubt with the sun.
In total austerity Euterpe visits me.
She comes to provoke me, she asks me to follow you.
and I don't know how to deny myself,I'm weak to her kisses.
She finds me a good chord, rhymes a verse
and start to hoist a song
that goes out to chase you to that region
where the night conspired
and became my ally,
my route, my revenge;
letting your sparkles bear witness
and what was hidden behind the first excess,
and the last tremor
the planets spoke it with their laws
drawing promises to come.
Because nobody understands your addiction
of saving beauty and redeem ants
to find yourself in front of the emptiness and smile
even if you don't have an echo
and you sacrifice everything knowing that in the end
your tears bless sustenance
and death moves with your walk
until it wants to take you riding.
I found you at random, but there is so little time
to daydream and store silence.
But what can I do?
Your gaze is not free
I will not conquer or fight.
I'd rather it be life in its work
who gives me what I deserve from your love.
LA MUERTE SIEMPRE A NUESTRA IZQUIERDA...
La muerte viaja a nuestra izquierda
intolerante, consentida
y nos recuerda que los días
son algo más que tiempo y suerte.
La muerte siempre está presente
en el olor del calendario
y la sentimos de repente
cuando visita al vecindario.
La muerte tiene tantos ojos
como suspiros trae el viento
y nunca oímos su lamento
cuando recoge los despojos
en su carrera sempiterna.
La muerte cobra su peaje
a pecadores y a modelos
y nos sorprende en el sendero
a unos más tarde, a otros temprano
Sin tiempo para ser salvados
de un solo abrazo, nos separa
de nuestros cálidos estados
de nuestra insulsa caravana.
La muerte rompe el equilibrio
con sus visitas clandestinas.
Con un sabor de despedida
nos lleva en andas a otro sitio
donde se escurren los regresos.
La muerte, dama misteriosa,
ramera fiel y callejera
recolectora de las rosas
de la esperanza y de las huellas
La muerte para redimirnos
para empezar, para volvernos.
La muerte para abrir caminos
para cerrarlos y encenderlos.
La muerte, sabia consejera
muestra su rostro en la partida
y solo pudo comprenderla
quien pudo comprender la vida.
La muerte siempre a nuestra izquierda...
DEATH ALWAYS 0N OUR LEFT
Death travels to our left side
intolerant, spoiled
and reminds us that the days
are something more than time and luck.
Death is always present
in the scent of the calendar
and we feel it suddenly
when it visits the neighborhood.
Death has so many eyes
as sighs the wind brings
and we never hear his lament
when it collects the remains
in its everlasting career.
Death takes its toll
to sinners and models
and surprises us on the trail
to some of us later, others early.
With no time to be saved
with a single hug, it separates us
from our warm conditions,
from our conceited caravan.
Death breaks the balance
with his clandestine visits.
with a taste of goodbye
it takes us somewhere else
where the returns are drained.
Death, that enigmatic lady,
faithful street whore,
gatherer of roses,
hope, and footprints.
Death to redeem us,
to begin with, to make us return.
Death to open roads,
to close and turn them on.
Death, wise counselor
shows us its face in the departure
and could only understand it
who could understand life.
Death, always on our left side
SI ME MUERO MAÑANA...
a mi esquina preferida
juntando aspiraciones.
Si me pierdo los detalles
de las luces y las sombras
y no entiendo los mensajes
del verano y de la alondra.
Si no acierto a descifrar una mirada,
he vivido de escapada en escapada.
Si me muero mañana, ¡quién lo duda!
podría sorprenderme
cualquier desgarradura
IF I DIE TOMORROW ...
If I die tomorrow of habits,
without touching the other shore
of sheer uncertainty.
If my voice no longer takes flight
and my verse is disgraced,
between useless flattery and the desire to be first.
If in a false meekness I undo myself
this song would seek the sun in vain.
If I die tomorrow of anxieties,
looking for consolations,
silencing truths.
If I narrow the horizon
to my favorite corner,
and I rinse my wounds
with the salt of a “new order”,
so as not to let my stillness wake up,
getting fat and satisfied with my luck.
If I die tomorrow of illusions
and blur the distances
gathering aspirations.
If I miss the details
of lights and shadows,
and I don't understand the messages
of the summer and the lark;
If I'm not able to decipher a gaze ,
I have lived from escapade to escapade.
If I die tomorrow, ...and who doubts it!
it might surprise me
any tearing
in the fullest bonanza
building my scaffold,
and without no time for baggage
what good is hope?
In truth that would be regrettable
leaving, dressed for the party and never get to the dance.
y el olor de tu fogón;
tu andar leve y tu sonrisa
en la voz del ruiseñor
boga que boga en el viento
seré barquero del sol.
Madre, cuando yo sea grande
tiraré al fondo del mar
la esperanza enmohecida,
llantos, desvelos y azar,
MOTHER, WHEN I GROW UP ...
To Poly, in the year that turned into two.
Mother, when I grow up
I will leave you the song
that stops the morning
and make the greenery greener
so that the night can sing
in verse to love
to the river that thinks and is silent
I'll leave you that song
Mother, when I grow up
I will be the boatman of the sun.
I will lock up the rainbow
and the smell of your stove,
your light walk and your smile
and the voice of the nightingale
paddling and paddling in the wind
I will be the boatman of the sun.
Mother, when I grow up
I will throw to the bottom of the sea
moldy hope,
crying, sleeplessness and chance;
shadows of false friends,
the first fleeting love
and the last grief
I will throw to the bottom of the sea.
Mother, when I grow up
we're going to fly
with that swallow
that opened the summer to my age
but if you feel nostalgic
or the loneliness returns,
I will sit you on a cloud
between foam and humidity,
and in dance with the stars
we will go down home...
Mother, when the dawn comes we're going to fly!
